Constructive 2026.4 has now been released!
This release focuses on making everyday workflows faster and more consistent. Selections reports and permission controls have been tightened up across the board, and a handful of small but meaningful upgrades have been made to improve day-to-day operations. Read on for the full picture.
Enhancements:
Subtitles on suggested items
External references on suggested items
Builders can now attach external references required for Pricing Integration when submitting a new item suggestion. This reduces manual follow-up and helps administrators review and process suggestions more efficiently. To set up pricing integration, please email support or your CSM.
Per-item URL visibility control
URLs can now be hidden at the individual selection item choice level, without affecting other items in the same selection. This allows Builders more flexibility with the existing library items.
Report Setting – Prices Displayed Alignment
If pricing is disabled at the master template level, the “Prices Displayed” checkbox will automatically be greyed out and unavailable for selection in the job level report settings.
Price override labels can now be hidden.
Use the special character ‘?’ to suppress the default price override label on a selection choice, giving client-facing documents a cleaner look. Tooltip guidance is included in the interface.
Clearer two-factor authentication messaging
The wording around 2FA setup and removal has been updated to better explain login expectations, device limitations, and the security impact of disabling 2FA.
Improvements
Mood Board reports now include “other” items
Selected items categorised as “Other” now appear as expected in the Mood Board reports, and are not excluded.
3D model imports are more resilient to broken objects
Problematic or invalid/broken objects (within an IFC file) are now skipped, allowing the model to import successfully.
Deleted users are logged out automatically
Users removed by an administrator are now redirected to the login page immediately upon their next action.
